Your responsibilities will include developing and prototyping innovative retrieval systems with NLP and Transformer, query planning, deep learning, and optimizing scalable distributed inference solutions in a production environment. Act as the technical leader in Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and drive full life-cycle Machine Learning projects.Lead technical efforts within this team and collaborate with other science teams.Build machine learning models, perform proof-of-concept, experiment, optimize, and deploy your models into production.Run A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical tests.Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data mining, machine-learning model development, model validation, and serving.Work closely with junior scientists, software engineers, and product managers to assist in productizing your ML models.Establish new research initiatives to shape our long-term science vision.Act as a mentor to other Scientists on the team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience; PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy, etc.Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.Additional Information

The base pay for this position ranges from $179,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,400/year in our highest geographic market.
