The selected candidate will be expected to collaboratively work toward building research excellence. Applicants must be accomplished researchers with a demonstrated track record of extramurally funded research and a record of mentorship. Active research funding transferable to the Stony Brook University School of Nursing is required.At the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, applicants must demonstrate a successful history of obtaining funding to support independent programs of research. Candidates should also be prepared to mentor junior faculty and doctoral students, be committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, facilitate collaborative interdisciplinary research, and teach at the undergraduate/graduate levels.
