Job Overview:
The Learning Experience Manager, (Service and Install Training), will be responsible for the development of a nationwide service and install training strategy for Marvins dealers and channel partners. This will include creating programs to support our partners in the proper installation and servicing of Marvin products through a blended learning approach that will include classroom training, virtual learning and self-directed learning solutions. They will be responsible for the rollout of these programs, the ongoing development of the programming and reporting on results. This role will lead a team of regional Service and Install Learning Specialists that will execute and support these programs. This role requires knowledge and skill in adult learning strategies, field service and install, program development, and learning facilitation.Highlights of your role:Assist in the development of the service and installation training strategy in support of Marvins dealers in partnership with the Learning Experience and Service leadership teams.Determine the service and installation programs and content needed to support the strategy.Work with the Marvin instructional design team to create the content needed to support the service and installation training strategy.Provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports. Sets expectations and effectively manages team contribution, performance, and engagement within the team and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with the Field Service team and Customer Service team to stay in sync with reported issues and adjust programing to address.Collaborate with the Sales, Field Service and Customer Service teams to address any service and installation related training needs that internal Marvin employees may have.Stays current on installation and service topics to increase effectiveness ofProvide regular communication and reporting on service and installation training programs to appropriate audiences.Oversee learning projects to ensure completion of deliverables on schedule and within budget.Execute with strong project management skills, monitoring work-plans and managing against milestones, knowing what to prioritize and why, knowing who to keep informed and when to escalate.You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience5+ years of experience in learning and development5+ years of experience as a people leader5+ years of experience in learning facilitationExperience with installation and service trainingAbility to travel nationwide 50% of workdays, which will require overnight staysConstruction knowledge/building experience and/or Installation Masters Certified a plusAlso want to make sure you have:
Superior relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and partner well with others to build strong and trusting relationships.Ability to learn all aspects of Marvin products.Ability to learn all aspects of installing and servicing Marvin products.Experience in learning facilitation across multiple modalities.Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is noise to the audience.Strong initiative and solid judgement abilities/skills; must display a balanced, objective approach and sound judgment when recommending a course of action.Nimble, resilient, and adaptable to the ever-changing environment and offer creative solutions based on experience and industry trends.Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.Ability to provide an independent point of view on people and issues while having the courage and sensitivity to deliver tough messages to leaders and employees.Demonstrated effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong influencing skills when recommending and implementing solutions with business partners.Project management skills and ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
