Technical Program Manager III, Shopping Presentation Foundations

We are looking for a TPM to deliver the complex, build time and runtime capabilities of our next generation Store architecture. In this role, you will navigate complex tradeoffs between multiple stakeholders across organizations, and ensure the team delivers on critical goals that move us towards the architectural vision.

You will own creating roadmaps for critical projects, and create mechanisms to prioritize, track, and communicate progress. You will deep dive into the technical approach and ensure it avoids one way doors. A successful candidate is expected to be a strong owner and leader that is able to thrive in ambiguity while having the curiosity to deep dive to solve hard, complex, technical problems. They will possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively align leaders across the organization. We’re looking for someone who is passionate to innovate, technically curious, and cares about enabling the best quality customer and developer experiences.

Key job responsibilities

Drive the technical disambiguation and delivery of capabilities within the organization's architecture.Partner closely with engineering managers, SDEs, and Principal Engineers to build the next generation Store architecture.Create delivery roadmap and drive regular prioritization and tradeoff discussions.Establish mechanisms to uphold and launch complex requirements across the architecture.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience3+ years of software development experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
