Sr Operations Program Manager – Global Services & Delivery – Research Board – Global EnterpriseAbout the role:Global Enterprise Research Board is a newly formed team within Gartner dedicated to serving technology executives at the world’s largest, most complex organizations (global companies and government agencies). We deliver to the senior most GTS executives within these organizations. Our clients face daunting obstacles including disruption from startups, the rise of entirely new business models, geopolitical headwinds, and massive re-organizational efforts. The mission of the GE – RB is simple: to carry out the big picture, forward-looking conceptual thinking about such obstacles that CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and other technology executives faced with pressing strategic concerns do not always have the time or bandwidth to do.What you will do:Improve service activity and drive higher client retention by working with the GE – RB stakeholders/Leadership Team as well as Community Guided and GS&D Strategic Ops Teams to research, develop, and implement new change/strategic programs and the accompanying change management activities as they align to People, Process, Technology/Systems, and Data & Analytics to improve the client experience.Lead Project Management activities related to Strategic Ops programs, including the management/oversight of the entire portfolio of projects, in addition to active management of specific projects.Partner with Global Services & Delivery teams to ensure Service Leaders are aware and included in central-driven programs and technology/tools (e.g. Speed to Value) and aligned with Gartner’s overall digital-first strategy.Perform Program and Project Management for workstream/initiatives related to Strategic Ops such as: collaborate with Team Leaders to identify top priorities/business problems, create project charters/plans, organize and manage work stream content, mitigate risk, develop action items, monitor resource and budget allocations and track closure, overall portfolio management, assessment of how much change management the BUs can manage, and the successful delivery of predetermined outcomes.Ensure that all initiatives (local or WW) are either global in nature, or are in line with our global strategic plan; collaborate across sales, marketing, product, research, and advisory, to bring solutions to our service teams in a coordinated way.Create opportunities to develop new tools, processes (vs Recommend potential opportunities for new or improved processes).Partner with D&A team in India and GS&O team to align on key business metrics; PowerBI dashboards – help get maximum leverage from common team (contribute to the development of scalable/repeatable programs).Proactively identify value-add activities, areas to enhance the client experience, and overall operational efficiencies.Make prioritization decisions based on estimated return and/or benefit to the business.Develop an effective working relationship with all key stakeholders to support the continual gathering of information, feedback, and input from them in order to drive curriculum development/evolution.What you will need:7+ years business experience in Client Service, Professional Development, Business Operations, and/or PMO managementBachelor's degree required.Strong business process experience including the ability to liaise/translate between technical providers and the business units we support in order that the business’s needs are effectively addressed.Comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and complex enterprise environment; able to pivot strategically without losing momentum.Able to manage multiple stakeholders across different teams.Strong project management experience.Ability to develop and execute operational strategies at a portfolio level, and to develop/establish the framework, infrastructure, and process to support those strategies.Trains and mentors associates on technical skills.Competent to work at a high level in knowledge area/function as an advanced contributor.Strong problem-solving skills, applied frameworks, and methodologies.Ability to work productively and independently without prescriptive direction/oversight.This role is remote however the right candidate must live close to one of our COE's: Stamford, CT, Irving, TX or Ft.Myers, FLBenefits:We offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including but not limited to the following; Private healthcare, 401K Match, generous paid time off, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and much more.
