Position Overview:
The home office based Regional Advisor Consultant will be responsible for providing expert wealth management advice, practice development intelligence, strategic insights and home office updates to Advisors within a designated region. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, client needs, investment product offerings and the ability to develop tailored solutions that drive business success. The role is an in-office San Diego home office-based position Monday thru Friday with periodic travel within a designated region.
Job Duties:
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with IFG’s advisors, understanding their business challenges and objectives and align with their goals.
Strategic Consultation:
Provide expert advice on industry best practices, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Solution Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized solutions that meet advisors needs.
Market Analysis:
Collaborate market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Training and Support:
Deliver training sessions and workshops to advisors and internal teams to enhance knowledge and skills.
Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, outcomes, and recommendations.
Networking:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote services and build relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree: Industry related accreditations preferred.
5 years of experience in financial sales, consulting, advisory, or related roles.
Strong understanding of the financial markets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel and Salesforce.
Ability to travel as needed within the region.
Must be Series 7 Licensed, Series 65 and CA Insurance License preferred.
Proactive mindset with a positive can-do attitude.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
