Senior Environmental Project Manager (NDEC Ecologist)
to join our Redmond, WA team!
Relocation assistance provided for hire who does not currently reside in the area.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee environmental programs for transportation and habitat restoration projects.Shape design, lead environmental permitting, and ensure compliance during construction.Coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate environmental impacts.Provide mentorship and management to staff members.Manage scope, schedule, and budget to maintain high standards of environmental stewardship.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of environmental management experience.At least 3 years of specific experience in transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest.Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.Exceptional project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Technical Requirements:Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on sustainable solutions.Professional certifications such as PWS, WSDOT Senior BA Author, PLA, LG, or CPESC are desirable.Other Qualities:Ability to travel occasionally up to one week at a time.Able to work in inclement weather and difficult terrain.Compensation:The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law.
