We are recruiting for a program manager to support an office that preempts threats to US national security objectives by harnessing technology and tradecraft and drives the state-of-the-art in new technical capabilities. The successful candidate will support an initiative to gain mission advantage in strategy and governance, technology assessment and analysis support, technology transformation support, and protecting the government organization from technology related threats.Responsibilities
Support ongoing assessments of project and program management frameworks, governance bodies, and their overall effectiveness in meeting program's strategic objectives to enhance and drive efficiencies in the governance structure.Provide recommendations to leadership on potential strategic implementation options, leveraging industry leading practices to establish a leaner enterprise agile approach.Support coordination among disparate projects and government teams to drive quality outcomes and facilitate technical progress toward the strategic objectives of the organization.Attend meetings to ensure continuity on complex and sometimes disparate activities.Required Qualifications
Demonstrated project management experience across a variety of efforts involving 20+ personnel, strategic and organizational planning, business process improvement, business program and project management, and benchmarking and program metrics.Demonstrated stakeholder management experience across a similar scope and complexity as posted above.Demonstrated executive-level communications and interpersonal effectiveness skills across a variety of efforts involving similar scope and complexity.Demonstrated working knowledge of current and emerging private sector best practices for investing in and leveraging critical emerging technologies.Demonstrated working knowledge of government organization mission, vision, strategy direction, and key programs.Demonstrated experience effectively enabling reach back support to commercial experts on behalf of government organization's needs.Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjobCompany EEO Statement
