The role will work closely with creative, creative production & cross functional teams to execute photography initiatives. This person will be responsible for all pre-production activities, such as partnering on the creative brief and project timeline, bidding and hiring photographers and vendor partners when necessary, casting, and all retouching & post production collaborations. They will lead studio shoots and production vendors with current staff as well as any off-site shoots, to ensure projects run efficiently, on time, on budget, and that all creative needs are optimally fulfilled. This will include overall oversight of workflow, planning, and related staff and freelancers for the Retail Photo Studio.Minimum Qualifications
Senior-level production experience (10+ years) in a professional photography environment with a minimum of five years in managing a team working as a creative producer with best-in-class talent.Photography experience in the product, accessory, and/or lifestyle areas.Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in using CaptureOne, Photoshop, Mac OS and iOS and Color Management/Workflow.Forward thinking, innovative, agile, and decisive in the execution and delivery of photography in collaboration with all partners.Experience as a bridge between the creative teams, Photo Studio and cross-functional partners who have specific business or communication goals.Experience owning creation and management of production schedules and budgets, at times collaborating with other functional production teams on shared budgets / timelines / pipelines.Creative agency, social/PR content, or photography production studio experience preferred.Adept at people management and the growth and development of a team of photography professionals.Excellent fiscal planning and budget management skills related to running a studio & team.Bachelor's degree in photography, art, or related discipline.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
