Warehouse Associate
is responsible for carrying out warehouse operations including: receiving and put away of materials, picking and fulfillment of customer orders, cleaning and organization of warehouse, conduct inventory counts, and assisting walk-in customers with order fulfillment.Responsibilities/Duties:Pull materials to fill orders via a pick ticket in an organized fashionCheck pulled goods quantity and type against sales orders to confirm accuracyLoad customer or company vehicles with ordered goods in a secure fashionPlace orders via computer sales order process as instructed by the DC ManagerHave a working knowledge of all rules and regulations governing the safe operation of company issued equipmentPerform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety complianceFollow safety training as prescribed by company, OHSA, and DOT guidelines and maintain required safety certificationsReport any incidents as prescribed by company guidelinesUnload and receive stock replenishment materials into warehouse per prescribed company goods receiving process checking the accuracy of quantity received and the quality of goods received versus the bill of lading and purchase orderPut away goods received according to instructions of DC ManagerNote any damaged goods in the receiving process and notify the delivering Representative and DC Manager of damages following set company processesEnsure clear and safe passage in all warehouse aisles and loading docksAssist the DC Manager in organizing warehouse layout and storage bins as requiredReport all unsafe storage and equipment issues to DC management immediatelyPerform inventories (cycle counting) as required per company policy to ensure accuracy of stockWork with inventory management to resolve discrepanciesOther duties as beneficial to IDILeads Self

Qualification/Skills:Operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and shrink wrapperIdentify product numbers and alpha/numeric codesMust meet physical requirements of the jobUse/learn computer order entry and inventory systemsAchieve set goals in a timely mannerEducation and/or Experience:High School diploma or equivalent0-2+ years’ experience in warehouse facility preferred
