This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key partners. The Data Solutions Controls and Reporting Team creates reusable, enterprise-ready data capabilities and data assets for the organization. In addition, the Product Owner Associate Director will support the success of a growing portfolio of enterprise ready data capabilities spanning data management, data integration, and data quality.Your Primary Responsibilities:Translate the Data Solutions product vision into squad deliverables and release plansIndependently lead multiple capabilities’ functional and business outcomes, through the life cycle from initiation to closingCollaborate across all collaborators groups to elicit business requirements, develop, and document project plans, and identify resource requirementsManage the squad’s backlogCreate and refine the backlog of user stories with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready (preparation for development)Accept or reject backlog items, according to acceptance criteria, during the sprintBring the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squadCultivate relationships with the Tribe Lead and key collaborators to identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and maintain alignment to achieve product strategyIncorporate and prioritize technical work, as required, to deliver on release objectivesImprove product value by evaluating implementation alternatives and considering impact of changing scope on budget and estimatesProvide analytical and reporting capabilities to support decision making by the business partnersCraft and deliver clear and concise high quality presentations to partners and leadership that provide the appropriate level of detail for the intended audienceAttend and participate in all squad meetings (example. sprint and release events)Qualifications:Minimum 8 years of related experienceBachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for Success:Exhibit strong understanding of Agile Software Development (primarily Scrum and Kanban) principles and techniquesUnderstand and use applicable work management tools (i.e. JIRA) for decision making and collaborationPrior experience communicating with all partners (technology, clients, finance, integration, operations teams) to engage in discussion, create user stories, and consistently deliver the right products and solutionsPreferred experience in leading data-driven initiatives with a strong understanding of the data journey of an organizationPreferred experience with data capabilities such as data management, data integration, data analytics, and data qualityComplete the Product Vision and effectively translate into Product Roadmap and Backlog items to deliver the highest valueOutstanding interpersonal, collaborative, and strategic leadership skills with a proven track record to lead, engage, and inspire teamsComfort in partnering with and leading strong subject matter experts with a diverse group of backgrounds and abilitiesThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
