We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Airport Terminal Project Manager to join our team and support Miscellaneous projects at the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA/LAX)! In this role you will manage the scope, schedule and operational interfaces of all design and construction-related activities for various enabling projects to support major terminal projects, or terminal projects that need quick attention. This is a Monday-Friday full-time position at LAX.What You'll Be Doing:Manage project within budget and schedule constraints while maintaining all necessary scope elements.Lead stakeholder engagement to identify, communicate, resolve, and accomplish their needs while preserving the principles and criteria of the project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.Apply knowledge in design and construction contracting practices and methodologies.Apply knowledge and experience in the project design life cycle from Concept to Project Definition Book to Permit to Bulletins.Apply knowledge and experience in the project construction life cycle from Pre-Construction to estimating/buyout to phasing to implementation to Closeout.Assemble KPIs and decisions needed for Governance and presentation to others, including the executive staff.Maintain an excellent working relationship with the design and construction professionals geared towards open communications and mutual problem solving in the best interest of the project and all other parties involved.Develop and maintain a high level of team morale through professionalism that reflects well on the project team, external stakeholders, and LAWA/internal stakeholders.What Required Skills You'll Bring:10 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects.Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design + CMAR, and Design/Build.Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required.Master's degree preferred.Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/None.This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
