This free Walk is a community-oriented and family-friendly walk at the beach front Crescent Bay Park in Santa Monica. The purpose of this Walk is to provide an opportunity for the liver community to come together, share their experiences, support each other, and raise awareness of the 100 variations of liver diseases. By volunteering to help us, you will enable us to continue our lifesaving work in support of liver patients, their caregivers, and family members.Volunteer hours are from 7:30 am to 12:30 or 1:30 pm. We provide free breakfast (bagels, cream cheese, protein bars, fruit, coffee, and water).About Liver Health Foundation
Liver Health Foundation's mission is to save lives by uniting patients, caregivers, and providers to ensure the best possible care for liver patients. We will accomplish our mission by providing free-to-public educational programs and events, raising awareness of liver disease, addressing equity in access to healthcare, inclusion, and supporting research in finding treatments for liver disease.Description
Liver Health Foundation is a California-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting liver patients, their families, and caregivers. We hold annual walks in Orange County and Los Angeles to bring the liver community together. We offer free educational webinars and invite renowned hepatologists to share their knowledge and expertise and offer reliable and updated information to liver patients. In our programs and events, we encourage those who are living with liver disease and honor those who have lost their fights.
