Full TimeOVERVIEW:Ideal candidates should be skilled at coding and ELC Directing as well as operating robotic camera and audio systems, sometimes simultaneously, for fast-paced scripted and breaking news coverage and other sports and entertainment productions.The successful candidate will have these strengths: proven leadership skills, technical skills, ability to function well in a team environment, attention to detail, ability to manage time, and be a positive, giving member of the team.RESPONSIBILITIES:The ability to work on remote productions and skills that include robotic and manual camera operation, in the field and the studio, and some experience with audio operation will be considered strong assets.Candidate must communicate efficiently with management, producers, graphic artists, engineering staff, hub crews, and production coworkers to prepare and implement technically clean productions.Provide leadership for production prep and execution.Manage Production staff during assigned shifts to develop a positive working environment and successful operations.React in a calm and effective manner to fast-paced, 'live' television and multimedia environments.Apply technical expertise and creative style to build interesting productions within accepted guidelines and standards.QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge and experience with Sony ELC automation system.5+ years of experience coding and directing 'live' newscasts and other productions in a medium to major market.College degree or equivalent preferred.Company:
