Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for leveraging data to drive business success.Lead initiatives to transform the organization into a data-driven culture, promoting data literacy and adoption across all levels.Oversee the delivery of internal analytical products, including self-service and ad-hoc analytics, to support data-driven decision-making.Develop strategies to optimize the use of customer data, creating a seamless omnichannel customer experience and driving sales and revenue growth.Engage with executives and cross-functional teams to understand and align with their data needs and strategic goals.Stay current with industry trends and implement new technologies, including AI, ML, and Generative AI, to enhance data capabilities.Spend time with customers to identify patterns and trends, driving the design and development of innovative data products.Assist with sprint planning and backlog management to align with business objectives.Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.What you bring to the table:
Solid understanding and experience of data functions and business operations in the following areas: Data Engineering, Data Analytics & Insights, Application and deployment of AI ML products, Operational Excellence, Performance Metrics & KPI’s, Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication.Proven experience in a leadership role focused on data strategy, AI, and ML practices.Hands on experience in developing and leading data and data science organizations across multiple business domains such as Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience.In-depth knowledge of data governance, analytics frameworks, and emerging technologies.Proficiency in SQL, data exploration and BI Tools (e.g. Power BI).Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.Exceptional strategic planning and communication skills.What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.10+ years in leading data & analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives, with a track record of successful project delivery.What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
Previous retail and eCommerce industry experience is a plus.We Offer:
