We are looking for great people who want to take this journey with us!Role and TeamThe Detail Shop supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vehicle detail operations and will service our customers by meeting weekly production goals and ensuring the highest quality details to meet our customer expectations. This position reports to the Operations Manager and leads the detail shop team.ResponsibilitiesLead detail shop operations to optimize productivity, quality and profitabilityMonitor and maintain equipment and facilityImplement and ensure all safety policies are followed and complete safety audits and inspectionsManage the detail shop staff which includes training, staffing, performance engagement and labor hour managementCommunicate with other departments to prepare for production flow and meeting deadlinesPost vehicle detail completions to customer accountsRun reports to monitor inventory levelsMonitor and ensure compliance with customer contracts regarding vehicle detail completion and qualityCascade company and customer communication and directivesPromote positive employee relations and moraleOrdering and maintaining suppliesSkills & AttributesHighly organized, detail oriented and consistent in the execution of job dutiesExcel in a fast paced, ever changing environmentOrganized and systematic approach to the workDemonstrated ability to follow-through with both internal and external partnersSelf-motivated in order to drive efficiency, teamwork, and the best customer experience possibleAbility to always demonstrate professional behaviorLeads through encouragement and coaching, navigates conflict through positive conflict resolutionQualificationsMinimum 2 years of automotive experienceMinimum 2 years of people leadership/supervisory experienceAuction experience preferredVehicle detailing experience preferredHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirementsConfidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive informationProven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelinesProficiency with computer systems and applicationsADESA Benefits and PerksCompetitive Pay | Quality Benefits | Holiday and Paid Time Off | Education and Equipment Reimbursement Programs | Matching 401(k) | Career Path Opportunities | And More!Other RequirementsTo be able to do your job at ADESA, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.
