Arsenal Bio is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Planning and Scheduling Manager reporting into the Supply Chain department. The Planning and Scheduling Manager is responsible for facilitating and leading management of critical patient material logistics and the production schedule. The incumbent is responsible for setting goals and objectives that ensure overall integration of manufacturing and planning policies, processes, programs and operational efficiencies. This role entails collaborating closely with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of daily schedules aligning with site priorities. As the business evolves, this position will manage direct reports.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own and manage the production schedule and order release process by partnering with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to plan activities.Serve as the subject matter expert in forecasting, demand planning, and working closely with procurement/purchasing partners to review raw material requirements to support MFG demands.Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators.Lead production meetings and communicate closely with internal and external clinical partners regarding the status of manufacturing.Manage and collaborate with logistical partners for all aspects of the patient journey, including apheresis pickup and shipment, final product packout and shipment, and critical sample shipments.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the transportation and handling of patient materials, such as regulatory non-compliance, supply chain disruptions, or security issues.Own supply chain deviations and drive to closure with corrective and preventative actions.Drive strategy and improvement initiatives that impact multiple areas using OE methodologies.Continuously improve the planning and scheduling of resources.Facilitate interdepartmental discussions in production planning meetings to resolve outstanding issues and align on priorities.Manage clinical site training on protocols and practices.Collaborate with IT Business Partners in support of modeling and scheduling simulation implementations.Perform other additional duties as needed.WHO YOU ARE
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a production planning/scheduling role, with strong emphasis on and experience in customer service.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Experience in Biotech, pharmaceutical with cell and gene therapy manufacturing is required.Experience working with Quality Systems.Technical proficiency in working with and implementing ERP systems and modules related to inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, capacity planning.Ability to adapt to flexible working hours to ensure business continuity.Strong influential and leadership skills that enable success.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on demand.Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.Project management capabilities and experience.Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.BENEFITS AND PAY

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of the San Francisco Bay area ranges from $127,300 - $156,000. Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location.
