About the Role:As the Senior Contract Manager, you will be a proactive problem solver and negotiations leader. You will work independently by applying and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of contract types and contracting.
Responsibilities:Applying specialized expertise in functional discipline including contracting principles, laws, and regulations governing data protection and security.Taking an active role in identifying and resolving policy and process gaps and communicating improvements across cross-functional organizations.Demonstrating a high degree of independence and creative judgment.Drafting customized and non-standard provisions, agreements, and amendments and leading customer negotiations to successful conclusion.Working independently, with guidance from business leaders and/or legal only in the most complex situations.Communicating and providing guidance to junior level personnel regarding customer requirements, corporate and business unit policies and procedures.
Requirements:Possess a Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.3+ years of Contract Management or relevant legal practice (attorney) required.Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Possess negotiation skills and the ability to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements with attention to detail.Able to work well in a team environment.Knowledge of the regulatory environment.Understanding of applicable laws (FCRA, DPPA, GLB, etc.).Expert knowledge of contract law and regulations.Capable of understanding and applying applicable laws and regulations governing data protection and security.
