Position Overview:The Vice President of Operations will oversee and enhance the operational performance of the skilled nursing facilities within our network. This strategic leader will ensure that facilities meet regulatory standards, achieve operational excellence, and provide high-quality patient care. The VP of Operations will collaborate with various department heads to create and implement policies that optimize the company's services, financial health, and overall resident experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional and facility-level administrators and department heads.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with corporate goals and state/federal regulations.
Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Monitor KPIs across the network and develop action plans for underperforming areas.
Collaborate with finance teams to manage budgets and drive cost-effective operations.
Analyze financial data and develop strategies to increase profitability and control expenses.
Develop and execute long-term operational strategies in line with the company’s mission and growth plans.
Ensure all facilities maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Oversee the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations within the skilled nursing or long-term care industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple facilities and driving improvement in operational metrics.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to travel to facilities as required.
