Lead Sunday Worship Gathering at Summerville Campus:
The Worship Director is responsible for leading the entire Summerville Worship and Production Team Members as well as leading and executing the planned gathering.Leading songs at Sunday Services:
The Worship Director is expected to lead worship by singing and/or playing musical instruments during Sunday services.Running Summerville rehearsals with the band and vocalists:
The Worship Director oversees and leads rehearsals with the worship team to ensure a smooth and well-prepared performance during services.Recruiting:
The Worship Director is responsible for recruiting new volunteers interested in joining the worship and production team. This includes managing the process of receiving applications, conducting auditions, and onboarding new team members.Training:
The Worship Director is responsible for training team members to improve their skills and abilities, such as stage presence, vocal talent, or musical ability, to help them reach their full potential.Care:
Personalized care for team members, and participation in team nights to build culture and cast vision.Scheduling:
The Worship Director is in charge of scheduling musicians and vocalists for services at the Summerville campus.Management of Worship Content:
This involves ensuring that all the necessary elements for a successful worship experience are prepared and organized. Responsibilities include keeping planning and scheduling software up to date, managing music files, charts, and reference tracks.Collaboration:
Receive influence from and collaborate with the Worship Pastor. The Worship Pastor is centrally responsible for the worship center experience at Awaken Church. The influence and collaboration with the Worship Pastor will play a large role in helping set up and support the campus Worship Directors for success at the campus level in their worship centers.Position Qualifications:
