located in Richland, WA.The hourly rate range for this position is $79-$105 per hour (plus full benefits). This position is initially expected to be a one year assignment, with the potential for extension.DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFICTechnical
– Review key project documentation to identify strategies for improving schedule performance, quality, and resource efficiency. Identify errors or misconceptions for successful project implementation.Technical
– Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOT) associated with assigned scope prior to field activities.Technical
– Review, comment, and provide improvements to testing and/or acceptance plans.Technical
– Identify activities and processes that would benefit from a mock-up and provide guidance on making them effective.Technical
– Communicate personal Operating Experience and identify industry-related experiences associated with project activities.Technical
– Serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope as needed.Governance
– Maintain knowledge of associated codes, standards, technologies, and industry trends related to Enterprise Risk Projects.Oversight
– Provide timely feedback to the Project Manager(s) and Department Management on project strategy and implementation.Oversight
– Provide oversight of shop or field activities as needed, ensuring progress against the approved project strategy.Oversight
– Serve as the designated person in charge of project activities on the shift opposite of the Project Manager as needed.Support
– Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendor resources to identify and remove roadblocks.Support
– Attend key strategy meetings with the Project Manager as needed.REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEAdvanced (graduate) degree in a related field AND 10 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND 12 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.Associate’s degree AND 14 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.High School Diploma/GED AND 16 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.Skilled in Enterprise Management Software (Asset Suite, SAP, etc.).Familiar with logic-driven schedules (Primavera and/or Microsoft Project).Knowledge of code and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and field work.Experience with error reduction and human performance improvement methods.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Advanced computer skills.DESIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEProven experience in construction management.Experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant.Experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power plant.Experience with feedwater heaters and internals.Experience with steam systems and ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code vessels.Certifications associated with mechanical disciplines, construction, or projects are desired.ANR offers full benefits including paid holidays, Paid Time Off, and Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance as well as 401k Match.Applicants must be punctual, have a good work ethic, and be able to successfully complete pre-employment testing and background investigation.ANR Group Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
