Building Enclosure Associate

Assume responsibility for the day-to-day success of multiple projects, including acting as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project teams; training and mentoring teammates; and managing small-to-medium projects, as appropriate.Perform on-site investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration, which may include documenting distress, performance evaluation, and field testing, collecting data and samples, and troubleshooting details.Analyze field data and perform research and review of modern and historic construction documents, governing codes, and design guidelines to facilitate analysis, problem-solving, and repair design.Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final client deliverables, including written reports, calculation packets, construction documents, repair design details (developed by hand and in CAD), and project specifications for repair and/or new design projects.Contribute to company-wide objectives through involvement in office and company development initiatives, in-house Technical Resource Groups (TRGs) and research projects, and relevant industry committees and professional organizations.Qualifications/Competencies:

Bachelor's degree

in architecture, architectural engineering, building science, civil engineering, or a related field.Three to eight years of relevant industry experience , with a demonstrated interest in the design, construction, investigation, and/or repair of various roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems; specification of and preparation for steel, concrete, and traffic coatings repair or replacement; preservation and rehabilitation of historic structures; experience with balconies, plazas, and other horizontal applications preferred.Demonstrated progress towards attaining relevant industry licensure/certifications, as applicable, e.g., Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC).Effective technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication skills.Team player mindset with a willingness to proactively take on various roles and responsibilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands, while maintaining productive interpersonal relationships and a high standard of excellence, integrity, and attention to detail.Physical Requirements:

Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
