Overview

The Business Selection and Conflicts Office (BSCO) is an independent function and responsible for bank-wide business selection and conflict resolution, as well as providing independent oversight of the Bank's implementation of the Conflicts of Interest Minimum Standards Framework. The team is in London, New York, and Sydney and supports all business divisions in transactional conflict identification, escalation, and resolution. The Conflict Clearing team performs a key role in conflict identification and are responsible for appropriate escalation of the conflict to the Regional Business Selection Officer for a resolution.

Identifying and escalating any potential conflicts of interest for resolution that may arise from updated deal logs or from initial logging of potential transactionsSeeking updates to relevant deal information and log any potential new transaction for assigned areas within the Bank's central Conflict Clearing systemManaging deals to ensure a proper and full resolutionWorking closely with Business Selection Officer, Bankers, and when appropriate Legal when conflictive situations ariseSupport senior BSCO officers involved actively with sister control functions, especially Rep Risk, ECF, and Personal ConflictsSkills You'll Need

Bachelor's degree and relevant work experienceMicrosoft skillsGood information gathering and writing skills - ability to summarize information crisplyFinancial services background preferredSkills That Will Help You Excel

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
