About this Role:
The IT Procurement Analyst is responsible for all asset renewals and purchasing aligned to our clients’ goals, needs and business objectives. The IT Procurement Analyst assists their team in the design of standard information systems by leading our procurement initiatives, sourcing all project materials, and coordinating with relevant vendor partners. For the
IT Procurement Analyst, collaboration and effective communication is key, not just with our clients but with our internal teams as well.
Accountabilities
Asset Renewal
Follow asset renewal processes maintained by the Client Asset Services Manager.Complete daily asset renewal functions according to renewal process for assigned clients.Manage proactive and reactive auditing of client’s existing services, security, and network infrastructure to ensure assets are renewed on time.
Asset Procurement
Follow quoting and sourcing request processes maintained by the Client Asset Services Manager.Prepare quotes for all asset requests including hardware and software for assigned clients.Assist Client Strategy teammates with standard solutions development and proposal creation for our clients.Place approved orders with NetCov partner distributors.Receive in-house hardware deliveries and schedule shipping to our clients or our other facilities.Maintain hardware inventory for both internal and external requests.
Service Board Management
Monitor the client asset services service board for new tickets, ensuring all tickets are assigned promptly, statuses are updated correctly, and deadlines are met.Ensure proper handoff of requests to internal teams when sourcing complete.Maintain detail and accurate notes and updates in tickets.Log all communication with client contact in service ticket.
Asset Documentation
Assist onboarding process and tasks related to asset inventory, renewals, and vendor contacts management.Prepare architectural design documentation, including asset inventories.Ensure asset renewals are properly documented in NetCov management tools.
Community Collaboration
Practice effective and timely communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding asset renewals, asset procurement, and assigned projects.Work with distributors on pricing and quotes for various hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions.Maintain up to date knowledge of NetCov’s complete offerings of solutions and services.Collaborate with the members of NetCov internal teams and assigned client end users & senior management on establishing business goals and sourcing assets based on needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Required
Minimum 1-3 years of industry related experience, preferably in business-to-business, Emerging/strategic client segment; orA record of achievement in the IT industryFour-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent training.
Technical Competencies:
Microsoft 365 and Azure Fundamentals Certifications a plus.Experience with ConnectWise Sell or comparable quoting system a plus.Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication abilitiesActive listening skills to fully understand client issues and concernsHigh attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping
Role Logistics
This is a full-time positionDays and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.This position requires the individual to be onsite Monday through Friday.This position may require travel to industry events, NetCov office locations, and NetCov events where locations will vary.Classification: exempt
