The VP, Operations will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operational activities related to production, supply chain, quality assurance, and warehouse & fulfillment functions. They ensure the successful development and implementation of cost-effective operations, personnel and systems. They build and hold teams accountable to metrics and operational frameworks to achieve organizational objectives. They contribute to long-term strategic growth, planning and optimization of operations.Job Descriptions
Leads, manages, and oversees production, warehouse and quality assurance teamsOversees day to day operations, ensure production processes run efficiently, and metrics are met and exceededActs as EOS Integrator, ensuring projects are executed, problems are resolved, and ideas from the Visionary are integrated into greater plans and projects.Develops and manages documented plans for quality assurance teams; ensures products meet customer and regulatory needs and quality metrics are met and achieved. Uses 5S and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.Manages the flow of goods, data and costs from the start of order or fabrication through production and shipment. Includes inventory management, production schedules, and transportation.Leads process optimization efforts: analyzes production trends, identifies opportunities for growth, mitigates potential risks, and streamlines operations for the highest operational levels possible.Plans, allocates and controls financial resources to execute operational plans.Coordinates and executes strategic plans in conjunction with the Leadership Team to ensure growth, on-time deliveries, and contract fulfillment.Guides, motivates, trains, builds and holds accountable a cohesive, highly operational team. Develops teammates and continuously invests in employee development.Highly fluent in ERP, QMS and other relevant technologies.Heavily focused on metrics and data; defines, measures, analyzes and uses data to drive decision-making and growth.Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.Must have experience managing people and production schedules.Lean Six Sigma, 5S or other supply chain certification greatly preferred.Has worked in production and manufacturing environment.Experience working in ERP and/or QMS required.Experience with quality assurance teams and programs required.
