Be an internal SME for assigned categories such as Knits and Wovens (Fabrics, Garments, Sourcing, and Product Knowledge).Owned, private label, and licensed brand product development.Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, design, and technical design to achieve best product results from all angles of the business.Recommend new ideas and methods for construction and execution.Anticipate and proactively tackle potential raw material, margin, sourcing, and execution issues.Assist negotiations, product development, adoption, sourcing, vendor allocation, and production processes across multiple market and product development vendors.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.1+ years of experience in product development in the apparel industry.Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, textile sourcing, and product development.Familiarity with product development software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems.COMPENSATION
