Ministry Director, Other Professional Ministry PositionsAt Element Church, our vision is to guide people to experience life to its fullest, connect to meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact.The Position:The Tech Director is responsible for all areas of audio, video, lighting (AVL), and production functions of Element Church. The ideal candidate will possess extensive training and/or education in audio/video production. The candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling a volunteer team to run the audio/video equipment for Element Church. Attention to detail and good communication skills are a must for this role.Responsibilities:Hands-on leader who can oversee video production for worship services, live streaming, editing, and uploading to the website.A relationship builder who can recruit, train, develop, and schedule a team of volunteers for the AVL team.Stay up to date on production and staging trends as well as technical knowledge of new software, equipment, and products, attending training as necessary.Maintain existing technology, develop new solutions, and are responsible for day-to-day operations of information, network, and AVL systems.Monitor and adjust the AVL experience during worship experiences and other events to adhere to the quality and standards of Element Church.Lead the worship experience production meeting and run through each weekend.Help provide a distraction-free AVL environment where Jesus is lifted up and the Gospel is presented with excellence.Assist with installation and equipment troubleshooting for mobile church venues as necessary.Coordinate with the Worship Pastor on all lighting scenes and creative elements for the weekly worship experience.Attend and actively participate in weekly Sunday Experience meetings.Continue to improve and enhance our online and secondary spaces presentation.Work with vendors on purchasing and updating our equipment.Responsible for editing and uploading weekly sermons to the website.Maintain Live Streaming service’s sound and video quality.Qualifications:Minimum of 4+ years of AVL experience.Able to assemble and maintain equipment used in multimedia production.Able to lift to 50 lbs.Detail-oriented and effectively able to manage multiple projects within tight timeframes.Self-starter who can study, learn, and operate our current equipment and then suggest strategic plans for growth and technological advancement.Strong communication skills and ability to interact with volunteers and staff with creativity and flexibility, often under deadline pressure.Strong understanding of signal flow and signal processing.Highly proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving audio and video components, including but not limited to mixing equipment, lighting tools, cameras, microphones, projectors, video recorders, amplifiers, and spotlights.Possess knowledge of video and audio file formats.Fluent in working with programs like Adobe Creative Suites, Logic Pro X, Resi, and ProPresenter.
