This is a union position.HealthRight-360, is a 200 bed residential facility for adult men who are in custody and on parole. We provide comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health services. Treatment episode ranges in time from 6 months to 12 months. HealthRight-360 is a fast-based environment where communication is paramount in order to provide cutting edge services to men in a residential treatment setting as well as their families. Our goal is to reintegrate persons served back into the community with the necessary skills to remain substance and crime free.

The Men’s Residential Program Driver is responsible for the transportation needs of clients.

The Transportation Specialist I ensures that clients are safely transported to and from various locations. (Examples: DMV, Dental, and medical facilities). Transportation Specialist I also ensures all transportation documentation is appropriately maintained and up to date.Key Responsibilities

Transportation Responsibilities: Safely transports participants in company provided vehicle following all applicable federal and state driving laws. Maintains appropriate staff/participant boundaries at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring routine vehicle maintenance including inspections, interior and exterior cleaning and pumping gas. Maintains all such documentation.Treatment Setting Responsibilities: Performs crisis intervention and communicates with treatment team as unforeseen situations arise. Performs periodic house runs to ensure and maintain the safety and security of the facility as needed. As needed, accompanies clients to offsite appointments related to their treatment. Assists with warehouse pick-ups. May work evening, weekends and holidays as needed.

Administrative Responsibilities: Enters transportation activities in company database, files related paperwork, maintains and prepares vehicle usage reports and logs. Maintains and reconciles invoicing and backup documentation for transportation services. Maintains accurate vehicle documentation with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.Other duties as assigned: When no driving task are available, Driver is to support other areas of the program such as Nexus/Front desk and or other departments as needed.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

First Aid CertifiedCPR CertifiedHigh School diploma or equivalentMust not be on active parole or probationAbility to pass and maintain a CDCR security clearance, includes FBI and DOJ
