Associate Program Director
Family Medicine
(APDFM) to join the dynamic Family Medicine core faculty team in fabulous Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Established in
1974 , the program boasts an exceptional first-time pass rate for board certification and attracts top residents from across the country. Over 50% of the graduates remain in Arizona and several HH residents have been with HonorHealth for over 30 years.The HonorHealth Medical Group – Heuser underwent a full renovation in 2023 creating a beautiful setting for Patients, Faculty, Residents, and staff. The Ambulatory Faculty Physician’s responsibilities will include supervision of the 27 (9 per year) Family Medicine residents in the outpatient clinic and hospital settings (preferred not mandatory). Faculty also will maintain a small panel of continuity patients. Physicians with an interest in practicing and teaching OB are strongly encouraged to apply.Additional faculty responsibilities include providing periodic resident evaluation, continuous quality improvement, resident selection team and other scholarly activities. The APDFM will also have a very active role with curriculum development and instilling a lifelong passion for learning and growth development of the residents which may include advisor for book club, noon conferences, grand rounds and activities which support academic achievement.This is a unique opportunity to bring your creative ideas to a program that welcomes innovation and individualism.
