JOB TITLE: Commissioning Manager (Mission Critical Construction)LOCATION: Sunnyvale, CAJOB DESCRIPTIONiParametrics is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join the Operations Department, working directly with the Project Management team. This role requires strong collaboration with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and field teams to manage complex civil, architectural, and structural coordination issues. As the on-site lead for commissioning quality control, you will play a crucial role in assisting contractors with startup preparation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure systems readiness and safe operational practices, confirming all safety protocols are in place prior to system operation.
Act as a key liaison between trade managers and subcontractors to coordinate Mechanical/Electrical system startups.
Organize and lead training sessions for clients' personnel in system operations and maintenance.
Oversee and process project submittal information, ensuring accuracy and functionality across multiple components.
Manage Requests for Information (RFI) and change-in-scope documents for efficient project coordination.
Serve as the technical advisor in the field construction office, offering expertise and guidance on project challenges.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience may be considered.
Strong foundational knowledge in construction materials and methods.
Minimum of 5 years in commercial construction required.
Specific experience with industrial or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is highly preferred.
LEED Accredited Professional status is preferred, with the ability to achieve accreditation within 18 months if not already accredited.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATIONAs a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salary, $108,000-160,500, based on experience, background, and skills.
