The Vice President of Strategic Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for our portfolio of offerings to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen the company’s market position. This senior leader will manage the strategic marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional groups to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in biotech marketing, a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, alongside exceptional leadership skills to drive cross-functional collaboration. This position is based in the United States and reports to the Chief Business Officer.Responsibilities:Develop and execute an overarching marketing strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals roadmap of offerings.Utilize market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies and decisions.Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.Collaborate with sales, corporate strategy, and program management teams to define messaging, value propositions and positioning.Ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business objectives.Establish and monitor key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns. Prepare formal monthly and quarterly reporting.Oversee launch planning for new offerings and execution, ensuring that marketing collateral, sales training, and promotional strategies are well-coordinated.Manage and develop the marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences regarding offerings and marketing strategy to support them.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.Drive brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage for competitive advantage.Ensure that all marketing efforts comply with regulatory and compliance requirements where applicable.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on strategic marketing.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in biotech.Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and analytics.Excellent leadership and team management skills.About UsAt KBI, we are constantly seeking to improve our team with accomplished individuals who share in our commitment to serve our clients as they seek to advance important medicines to the patients who need them.We offer our employees a challenging, rewarding and fast-paced environment along with the opportunity for career advancement through the development of one’s technical skills.
