Our businesses develop technology that helps save our customers energy and reduce their carbon emissions.Job SummaryThe Director, Corporate Compliance will join our Law and Business Environment (LBE) Compliance team to help ensure an effective global ethics and compliance program. This role is responsible for partnering across the organization to ensure continued compliance with global laws and regulations and implement solutions to eliminate potential risks. The Director will monitor and understand global compliance regulations, develop and implement compliance policies, training, and communications, conduct internal investigations, and help monitor compliance program effectiveness.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with global laws and regulations - 20%Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and trainings related to regulatory risk areas - 15%Lead regulatory audits and risk assessments, developing remediation plans for deficiencies - 15%Manage the third party risk management program - 15%Partner with internal teams and external counsel to conduct compliance investigations - 10%Assist in measuring and monitoring key metrics to assess compliance activities - 10%Stay informed about industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends - 10%Assist in due diligence of potential acquisitions - 5%Skills and Minimum Experience RequiredAbility to provide thoughtful and clear guidance to stakeholdersAbility to develop collaborative relationships across all levelsHigh level of interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and emotional intelligenceFlexible, pragmatic, and able to manage multiple complex projectsStrong ethics and integrity, sound judgment, and confidentialityDemonstrated knowledge of effective compliance programsSolid experience in key global compliance areasMinimum Education RequiredBachelor’s Degree or EquivalentExperience (minimum experience required)8-10 yearsPreferred EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from a US accredited law schoolPreferred Experience5+ years in developing and managing global corporate ethics and compliance programsTravel RequirementsDomestic and/or International 0 - 25%OtherJob description is not reflective of all duties.
