The Role:Genuine Parts Credit Union is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Compliance Manager to join the team. This highly credible individual will be responsible for analyzing regulations and policy, assessing compliance risk, recommending correction for deficiencies, training, and ensuring ongoing adherence. The role is also responsible for providing information on credit union products and services to members according to credit union policies and procedures, as well as state and federal rules and regulations. The Compliance Manager role is not only focused on compliance, but also assists in all areas of the credit union as needed including risk management, member engagement, and various projects to achieve the overall goals of the credit union as set by the Board of Directors.Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the ongoing, risk-based compliance program to include compliance training and policy and procedure creation. Maintain program documentation and report on progress throughout the year. Update the compliance program as needed.Research and analyze new and pending regulations affecting the credit union's current operations. Provide written documentation to assist management in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.Manage the audit program, including information technology and regulatory examinations, through coordinating with outside auditors and the Audit Committee.Responsible for ensuring appropriate corrective action is completed for any potential audit or regulatory findings.As the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer, take responsibility for compliance and oversight of the BSA and OFAC programs.Participate in new product development and provide input regarding compliance concerns relevant to proposed and current products and services offered by the credit union.Review, revise, and develop credit union forms and disclosures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.Review advertising and marketing materials for compliance.Special projects, research, analysis, and other duties as assigned.Reconciliation/research of bank account, GL ledger, investment fund, and other duties as needed.Manage training for employees and Board.Education, Skills, and Abilities:3+ years of similar experience in a credit union, bank, or other business.Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FICEN, USA Patriot Act and related regulations.Thorough understanding of financial institution policies, procedures, products, and services.Experience monitoring, explaining, and disseminating financial compliance requirements and researching and interpreting relevant laws and regulations.High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, focused on accuracy, self-motivation, and ability to manage projects successfully from start to finish.Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), organization and prioritization skills.Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills to include V-Lookups, Macro etc.What’s in it for you:Awesome people and brandGreat total benefits packageSmall credit union environment with exposure to all lines of businessCompany Culture that works hard, yet takes care of employees.Hybrid Work EnvironmentWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
