Position: Systems Performance EngineerLocation: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)30 Month ContractTargeted Years of Experience:
7-10 yearsResponsibilities:Collect and use hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the LTE network.Represent the team for feature-related projects, new node integration, and other centralized tasks by meeting deliverables and holding other parties accountable per project plan.Troubleshoot hardware and performance problems independently or by coordinating with other teams.Support Network Performance in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems.Report issues to appropriate engineers.Resolve customer service issues, assist in implementing solutions, and collect drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.Must Have Skills (Most Important):Diagnostic messaging collection with applications like QXDM and understanding of what log masks to apply for desired message collection.Post-processing and analysis of drive test data using tools like Actix Analyzer and/or TEMS.Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.Desired Skills:Knowledge in MapInfo, Google Earth, ArcGIS, or other relevant geographic information systems.First-hand experience using packet capture software like Wireshark or Netscout.Experience in finding interference sources using spectrum analyzers and directional antennas.Experience integrating and optimizing Ericsson LTE eNB/gNB.Education/Certifications:College degree preferred but not required with relevant work experience.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
