With these effective measures in place, FEAM delivers best in innovative technical services for all commercial aircraft operators.Position Summary:The Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for performing internal/external audits and investigations supporting FEAM’s Part 145 Quality Assurance Program. The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for compiling objective evidence by conducting interviews, reviewing documentation, performing audits, surveillance, and investigations to determine whether organizations and/or individuals are conducting business in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures.The work of the Quality Assurance Auditor includes, but is not limited to:Conduct scheduled and unscheduled surveillance/audits of the repair station, its facility, vendors, and sub-contractors for compliance with FEAM Policies and Procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.Evaluate Internal Operations for adequacy of facilities, equipment, procedures, and overall management to ensure safe, effective, and compliant operations.Will monitor compliance with all company Repair Station Policies and Procedures, Safety Management System (SMS), and Training Program requirements using Quality Assurance & SMS Auditing matrix and checklists.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for all internal and external quality audits of assigned line stations, documenting results while identifying any hazards and associated risks.Identify systemic problems with respect to policies and procedures and report deficiencies.Works with management on yearly audit planningInitiates and coordinates administration of Corrective Action Plans (CAP’s) when applicable, works with management to resolve any issues, assisting in the corrective action process both internally and for customers.Review corrective action plan (CAP) responses to ensure they adequately address the root cause of issues/incidents.Will monitor the operation of Line & Service checks randomly to ensure the proper procedures and paperwork are utilized.Ability to thoroughly audit work packages, if required, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented.Competently research and retrieve technical data. Properly interpret drawings and other technical data.Maintains audit and investigation records.Assist in maintaining the Repair Station Approved Vendor List. Foster an environment in which quality, safety, and compliance is everyone's concern.Must be able to travel to line stations within the system to perform duties as required.Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years aviation experience with auditing background.Experience with the following FAA regulations, 14 CFR 43, 145 and 121.Must have a valid driver's license.Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions.U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.Must be willing to travel over 25% of the time.Preferred Qualifications:FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions.Degree in Aerospace or Aviation Maintenance or equivalent industry-related work experience.Understanding of Safety Management System (SMS) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Skills/Abilities:Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using standard English.Able to interface in a pleasant and professional manner with all departments, levels of management, customers, and vendors.Be able to analyze information and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skillsMust have strong organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Be able to work under adverse conditions in a production/aircraft maintenance environment.Must be willing to work an irregular schedule when required.Compensation:FEAM Aero, in addition to a good working environment and competitive pay, it is FEAM’s policy to provide a combination of supplemental benefits to all eligible full-time employees.
