As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead our multi-family portfolio and drive operational success across multiple properties.Job Summary:
The Regional Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing GLM's multi-family housing portfolio, which includes a blend of market-rate and 55+ communities. This role requires a seasoned leader with experience in multi-family housing, real estate, or hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, a knack for driving results, and a deep understanding of how to optimize performance in a competitive market.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
Manage daily operations across a portfolio of multi-family properties, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional resident experiences.Team Development:
Lead, coach, and support property managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, expense management, and revenue strategies to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.Resident Satisfaction:
Drive resident engagement and retention efforts by maintaining high service standards and promptly addressing concerns.Compliance:
Ensure all properties adhere to local regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.Strategic Growth:
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and implement growth opportunities, including occupancy improvements, pricing strategies, and service enhancements.Sales and Marketing:
Work closely with leasing and marketing teams to drive occupancy, enhance visibility, and refine marketing strategies.Qualifications:Extensive experience in multi-family housing, real estate, property management, or hospitality, with a proven ability to manage diverse portfolios.Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving financial results, and achieving operational excellence.Strong business acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and strategic planning.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.Bachelor's degree in business, management, real estate, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.What We Offer:Competitive base salary starting at $105,000.Generous performance-based bonus program.Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and expanding company.A collaborative and supportive work culture focused on innovation and results.Great Lakes Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
