The company’s portfolio includes specialty surgical tables for procedure-specific approaches that improve patient outcomes in spine and orthopedic surgeries along with disposable and reusable surgical patient care products.Job SummaryThe Project Management Coordinator assists the Project Management function in Research and Development (R&D) in all phases of a project, from planning, execution, and through the end of the project. Develops work plans, tracks progress and delivers status reports.Assists in the coordination, planning, organizing of materials and human resources to ensure the successful completion of assigned medical device projects. Ensures projects meet established goals and deadlines.We are looking for you, if you have the ability to:Maintain document control and database; file all project related documents whether in hard copy or electronic format.Create and process documentation to release items into company’s Engineering Change Control database (ECN); interface with the Document Control department regarding related documents.Coordinate with functional management to document the appropriate allocation of human resources based on project needs and scheduling.Assist management in developing a comprehensive workflow process for the Project Management Department.Develop and review project status/reports with management. Work with the Sr. Manager of Project Management to maintain scope, materials, and other job details as required.Work with project teams to understand and assist with tracking all work, tasks, and project assignments to completion; escalate any project related issues, such as scheduling and/or urgent requests as appropriate.Report project(s) status on a regular basis to corresponding departments and communicate updates with management.Analyze problems and formulate plans to overcome challenges and to get work done quickly with a high degree of quality; make sound and logical decisions and choose the appropriate courses of action based on the parameters of the situation at hand and to use continual improvement problem solving skills.Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).Qualifications & Requirements:Requires 2 - 4 years of related experience.HS diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent computer skills including operating Windows based personal computers, various office equipment and machines.Ability to efficiently and effectively use Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to use advanced Excel features such as Pivot Table, VLookup, and produce reports is highly desirable.Experience with MS Project is a plus.Experience with a top-tier ERP, PLM system is a plus.Experience with assisting project management, strong organizational skills, and working knowledge of project management best practices, including Scheduling, Resource Management, Cost Management, documenting, and implementing project related tasks.Ability to clearly and effectively express oneself verbally and through written means, able to prepare meeting minutes, agendas, presentations, and reports.Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively with employees across different functions internally and externally and in a courteous and professional manner.Able to demonstrate an understanding, and the regular use of a time management process, which systematically structures one’s own work to provide for effective task performance and to plan and prioritize items to meet future demands.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000 plus potential bonus and comprehensive benefits packageEOE STATEMENTMizuho OSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes business decisions based on job related criteria only.
