What you’ll do:
Extract, structure and analyze data to construct the foundation of a clinical database in an effort to improve matching patients to clinical trials and/or patient identification for oncology care gaps.
Work with multiple data sources, including EMR databases, to extract and operationalize relevant information.
Create and combine various data sources to derive insights using SQL and dbt.
Translate business needs into operational processes and understand the necessary technical and operational requirements.
Consistently evaluate and improve the trial-matching and/or care gap processes including maintaining documentation and the organization of documents and templates.
Maintain highest quality standard through rigorous QA process to identify and correct technical mistakes and inconsistencies in results.
Create dashboards using data visualization tools to improve and streamline reporting related to business operations.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in an analytical or healthcare related field.
2+ years of relevant work experience.
SQL Proficiency.
Experience with dbt preferred.
Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools.
Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Obsessive attention to detail.
Ability and willingness to work in an agile and expanding team environment.
Nice to Haves:
Experience working with EMRs & clinical data.
