Foot Locker, the leader of sneaker and youth culture around the globe, is hiring a Vice President of Foot Locker North America Marketing. This role oversees all aspects of Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker Marketing in the U.S. and Canada – creating and executing an innovative brand strategy to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and business growth. A key commercial leader and brand marketing steward, this individual will translate customer goals and business objectives into an innovative, culturally relevant marketing plan that is measurable.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an omni customer-led marketing strategy – with clear KPIs – that deliver on acquisition and retention goals while building brand love.
Build a marketing culture that champions/is oriented around the customer – driven by insights, measurement, and always-on optimization.
Synthesize priorities and build comprehensive plans to drive demand – effectively allocating and managing budget and resources to maximize brand impact.
Maximize and grow our position in basketball leadership position through sports marketing, strategic partnerships (NBA), and campaigns that drive association, loyalty, and market share.
Develop best-in-class retail, social, and digital storytelling and experiences that are disruptive and push the brand forward in new ways.
Lead innovation in social strategy – leveraging creators, influencers, and platform-led ideas to drive brand relevance.
Partner with General Managers of Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker to build and execute multi-year growth strategies.
Collaborate with Partner Marketing to build demand creation and strengthen our brand partner relationships and business results.
Collaborate with Foot Locker Global Marketing region leads (EMEA & APAC) to maximize campaigns and brand impact.
Actively drive and build authentic community at the local level, creating plans with national reach and measurable local impact.
Grow and develop a high-performing team of marketers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of marketing experience with 10+ years in leadership roles.
Must love sneakers and be an avid follower of sneaker and basketball culture.
Omni-Channel retail experience.
Experience driving customer acquisition and retention.
Extensive brand strategy, campaign briefing, and management.
Effective cross-functional collaboration and partnership across a variety of internal partners: loyalty/membership, creative, media, merchandising, stores, visual merchandising, PR, ecommerce, etc.
Strong customer and results orientation.
Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player.
Benefits:The annual base salary range is $200,000 - $260,000/year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
