Job Summary
:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing, modernizing, and optimizing Heritage Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructure which includes servers, network, storage, virtualization, identity management and security. This position plays a key role in continuing to transition on-premises assets to the cloud and advancing Heritage's digital transformation.
Job Duties
:Manage, modernize and optimize Azure cloud and on-premises resources including servers, network, virtualization, and storage.Manage, implement and monitor secure and robust capabilities through VPN integration, identity management, governance, and security technologies.Design and deploy cloud-native solutions.Support operational aspects of cloud-native and hybrid data platform solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Data Services.Manage and maintain backup and Disaster Recovery capabilities.Recommend tools and solutions based on knowledge of current capabilities and industry advancements.Assists with ISP, telecom, and offsite datacenter vendor management.Support asset lifecycle management through centralized reporting services.Monitor SLAs for availability and performance, taking corrective actions as necessary.Serve as a subject matter expert on Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructure related initiatives.Other duties as assigned to advance the objectives and goals of the IT Department.Qualifications
:
Education: BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or IT related field preferred
Experience: 4+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience required; proven experience deploying and administering Azure services and solutions including network, virtualization, storage, security, SQL and AD in a hybrid environment required; experience with VMware and SAN environments required; experience with networking equipment, firewalls and VPN preferred
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Certification: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred

Understand and support the Heritage mission and vision for America, and the department's goals and objectives.Strong troubleshooting, technical, and analytical skills.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Excellent customer service skills.Detail oriented with a strong sense of follow-through.Availability to work on-site as needed to meet IT objectives.Ability to support on-call responsibilities as assigned including occasional after-hours work.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate, and the final salary offered to a selected candidate depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, and other qualifications; internal and external market pay for comparable jobs; and level of hire based on aforementioned qualifications.
