Business Development Manager - Downstream

to spearhead its sales initiatives in oil refineries and chemical plants. This exciting position requires a proactive, results-driven approach, adept at identifying and capturing new market opportunities. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the new BDM will drive growth by formulating strategic sales plans, leveraging deep industry knowledge, and fostering lasting client relationships.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

Responsibilities:

Follow the recip compression market in the downstream oil & gas sectors and develop sales strategies and plans to increase market penetration of products and increase the company's footprint.Create and execute sales and marketing strategies to evaluate the Total Addressable Market in the Downstream.Work within all levels of customer organizations, including individual sites and at the corporate levels.Collaborate with other Regional Sales Managers to sell into the downstream markets in their respective regions.Contribute to marketing plans and campaigns for the downstream market, including case studies, brochures, tradeshows, etc.Utilize knowledge of recip compressor operation and maintenance to engage with potential customers and determine potential fit and value proposition for products.Develop the Business Case with potential customers to calculate and validate the economic benefits of products for their recip compressor applications.Work with customers to collect the technical inputs necessary for quotations, performance simulations, application engineering, and manufacturing.Participate in creation of commercial documents, including quotations, terms and conditions, and sales contracts.Assist customers with training and troubleshooting. Assist Engineering with field issues.Establish and develop customer relationships to grow the sales pipeline and convert opportunities to orders.Utilize CRM system to track opportunities, quotes, and orders.Provide monthly Order Bookings Forecasts.Provide Voice of Customer input to Strategic Marketing, Product Development, and Marketing Communications.

Requirements:

Seasoned experience with pumps, valves, and compressorsA hunter mentality that will impact the company's growth in the downstream market10+ years of Sales experience within the downstream market
