Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States.Overview:This position is responsible for providing coaching, leadership and delivery of services to Build Capability, maximize Associate Engagement, and ensure Talent Acquisition. Works closely with an agile HR team to serve key internal plant customers supporting their talent needs to drive their business. Develop and execute action plans as agreed upon with key customers. Assists HR Manager as an employee champion and role model of a positive people first culture and functions as a consultant to management.Responsibilities:Engagement:Maintains positive associate, corporate and communityMaximize associate engagement and minimize litigious activity by coaching and advising leaders and associates on policy interpretation and coaching for improved performance to ensure consistency and fair treatment.Participates in associate activities and engagementDevelops and implements successful action plans to address identifiedMeets quarterly with the HR Marzetti community to assess progress against goals, to learn/develop and work as aTalent Acquisition:Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.Creatively utilizes appropriate channels to establish sourcing pool of talent that generates quality candidates while being cost-effective. In a timely and thorough manner, recruit quality associates.Acquires targeted talent with internal customers utilizing a recruiting strategy to establishIdentify ongoing activity to support successionManages job postings and advertisement processes.Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.Assists with HR daily functions including, payroll, compliance, and employee enrichmentBuilding Capability:Develops, coordinates and implements successful learning and development activities for associates andFacilitates the thinking, discussion and decisions within the organization in regard to role clarity, organizational changes and its impact on the business, required capability and talent (i.e. Communications, job descriptions, organization structure and compensation competitiveness).Develops, coordinates, and implements improvements for efficient talent processes andProactively engages with employees to build and reinforce positive culture.Acts as a leader to drive organizational and cultural change.Assist HR Manager in assessing, building and delivering employee training.
Food Safety and Other Quality ResponsibilitiesApplies the food safety and quality principles as described in the Marzetti Corporate Food Safety and Quality Manual and internal Marzetti Frozen Pasta policies, training and procedures in all applicable aspects of departmental and job functions.Qualifications:Minimum of bachelors degree in human resources, business or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of prior experience as an HR supporting internal customers. Prefer experience dealing with complex human resources business challenges, preferably coming from a progressive human resources environment.Experienced in working through associate relations issues.Supported internal customers with strong, effective coaching and performance managementExceptional communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work independently and work with minimal supervision.Proficient in Microsoft office applications, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and WordPHR/SPHR certification preferred.Competencies:

Working Conditions/Environment:Works in an office and manufacturing environment where the associate is regularly required to be in attendance at work in accordance with company expectations and guidelines, speak, see, hear, sit, stand, walk, and bend while moving about the facility. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors. The noise level in the office is moderate and loud in the plant. Earplugs and hairnets, beard nets (if facial hair exists}, safety glasses, and slip resistant/steel-toed shoes are required in the plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards. Working hours will normally involve first (daytime) shift, but also includes periodic time on second and third shifts, and limited weekend work.
