Overview:
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a VDI Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.Responsibilities:Architects and designs, the VDI Engineer will provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues.Provides guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.Operates across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.Conducts trade studies and makes recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

TS/SCIDegree and Years of Experience:
2.5+years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and educationProgressive roles from Administrator to Sr. EngineerRequired Skills:Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
Citrix App Layering
Liquidware Profile Unity
Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)
Desired Skills:Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering
Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7
Active Directory/ Group Policies
