HRV Conformance Verifications Associates, Inc. (HRV) , an industry leader in materials quality assurance and quality control inspection, coatings inspection, construction management and construction inspection.
Our BD/Marketing Group is seeking a business development professional with the skills and background necessary to succeed at developing new client relationships, nurturing existing client relationships, and supporting the entire business development life cycle across the spectrum of HRV's technical capabilities and client types.
A strong candidate for the Manager of Business Development position will:
Identify and pursue ongoing strategic relationships with clients, decision-makers, and industry technical leadersLead business development initiatives such as lead tracking, market research, sales forecasting and reportingTrack and report on industry and business trends used in developing new services, products, and geographiesWork with the executive team to develop corporate and divisional strategic market plans and metricsCoordinate client meetingsPromote the HRV brand and elevate the firm's visibility through attendance at industry networking opportunities (trade association meetings, conferences, tradeshows, etc.)Develop a deep knowledge of HRV's markets and competitorsParticipate in proposal development, reviews and submission processesOversee marketing report development and distributionDeliver external HRV overview presentations when necessaryRequired Qualifications and Skills:
Superior verbal communication skillsExcellent writing and proofreading skillsEntrepreneurial outlookFamiliarity with infrastructure (transportation, civil, building, etc.) markets is a plusExperience developing potential teaming partnersExperience creating and submitting proposalsProficiency with Microsoft, Word, Power Point, Excel, and OutlookFamiliarity with Marketing Databases and CRM applicationsEducation/Background Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (in a technical field preferred)Minimum 5 years of business development experience in a highly technical industryOR an equivalent combination of practical experience and technical educationSalary and Benefits:
