ScientistThis is an exciting opportunity to join a Global, industry leading company. The Scientist will work on synthesizing, characterizing, and formulating novel compounds. Use chemical laboratory ware and analytical instrumentation, handle chemicals, analyze data, create presentations, and report to the emulsion chemistry group.Responsibilities:Synthesize, characterize, and formulate solutions of novel compounds.Handle chemical laboratory ware in a safe and efficient manner.Conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data, as well as communicate and presente results to team-members and management.Requirements and Desired Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Systems Engineering requiredEducation: MS or PhD. Postdoctoral training is a plus.Work Experience: none for applicants with PhD, ≥2y for candidates with MSStrong background in chemical synthesis and preparative purification methods.Experience handling moisture-sensitive chemical reagents and reactions.Strong background on methods for molecular characterization (13C-,1H- & 19F-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry etc.)Capable to thrive in a multi-disciplinary setting while working alongside cross functional teams.Willing to design, execute and analyze experiments on aggressive schedules in a rapidly changing environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, logical and analytical thinking, ability to multitask, work independently and on a team, and the ability to learn, troubleshoot, and problem solve.Pay Range (Based on Experience & Qualifications): $42 - $50 per hour
