The Director of Industrial Sales acts independently as the single company point of contact for sales within the industrial and energy markets worldwide. Collaborating cross-departmentally, they develop customer-specific sales strategies in the industrial and energy segments. Operates as customer-service point of contact for Norsk Titanium ("NTi"), responsible for timely and accurate communication of the day-to-day execution and fulfillment of NTi deliverables.
In a typical day, your expertise:
Operates as customer-service point of contact for Norsk Titanium ("NTi"), responsible for timely and accurate communication of the day-to-day execution and fulfillment of NTi deliverables.
Develops and implements sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the application of NTi technology in new and emerging industrial markets.
Continuously promotes and maintains positive working relationships with customers, potential customers, and suppliers to achieve the best exposure in the market, ensuring all customer needs are actively pursued and addressed.
Provides technical and application support for industrial application opportunities.
Acts as primary customer representative for all activities, including critical responsibilities of:
Business Development
Strategic Account Management
Customer Engagement
Fulfillment responsibilities
Proactively advocates for the customer internally and the organization externally to ensure alignment of expectations and delivery.
Plans in accordance with Operations capacity for workflow and project strategies to manage a consistent and timely flow of inventory, in direct response to customer specifics and ship date requirements.
Maintains a broad market awareness of competitive processes, applications, and impacts to the additive market share; analyzes market trends and identifies opportunities for business growth in industrial markets.
Champions cross-functional partnership and alignment to resolve priority conflicts, collaborate and establish new initiatives to improve work processes and fosters positive working relationships.
Proactively leads continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc. in areas of responsibility.

Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines.
We're thrilled to find candidates with:
Bachelor's degree or 20+ years related experience in purchasing or 10+ years in sales or purchasing in Industrial Markets, preferably with a focus in additive manufacturing.
Experience in manufacturing qualification processes.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue preferred.
Strong business acumen and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies, preferred.
Knowledge of supplier processes with relevant OEM or Tier 1 companies.
Knowledge of US Department of Defense Acquisitions processes, preferred.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and real-time problem-solving strategies.
Working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 product distribution environments and expectations, preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams; Strong verbal, written and formal presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with others to direct and support goal-oriented activities in a matrix organization.
Fluent mastery of English language.
In-depth knowledge and experience in the use of integrated database systems and computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite tools, specifically, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.

The ability to read and apply Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Work and Work Instructions.

Physical Requirements:
The ability to sit in front of a computer for 8 or more hours daily.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, to operate a computer and telephone keypad.
The ability to travel via automobile and air for the purposes of attending required business meetings and professional conferences up to 50% of time.
Good vision (20/40) with or without corrective devices.
