Unlock your career potential.We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our Security organization and lead the delivery of large technology initiatives on security mechanisms, and solutions to ensure B2B experiences developed by Amazon Business to uphold our high security standards and protect customer data and trust. As a TPM, you will work with a large number of business units, builder teams, and partner teams to drive the adoption of solutions that support builder teams across Amazon Business throughout their software development journey. You will build and continuously improve security processes and workflows to scale our services and meet the diverse needs of our teams and customers. To be successful, you must be comfortable driving cross-team efforts and making independent decisions about your program. You will provide crystal-clear vision and direction for diverse engineering and business leaders, and connect experts across disciplines to develop solutions that would otherwise not be feasible. In this role, they will establish and lead projects and programs to secure our products and service, identify and mitigate threats, translate business needs into technical requirements, maintain compliance with security industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.) and global regulatory regimes. We are looking for someone who can think big to develop a plan and invent mechanisms that scale to meet the broad and diverse needs of teams across Amazon. This candidate will have customer obsession, working to deeply understand the needs of our customers and relentlessly looking to improve their experience and make them more productive. Previous Applications Security experience is a requirement.Key job responsibilities
Identify functional and technical security requirements by partnering with product, engineering and other internal security teamsAnalyze the security of applications and services to identify security risks and mitigations, and quickly react to new threat scenariosWork closely with software engineers to build secure solutions that meet customer needsCreate controls and mechanisms to drive adoption and iterative improvement of security capabilities throughout our technology and infrastructureDrive execution and maintain alignment through creating program management structure and engagement with engineers, leaders and executivesApply security expertise in technical discussions, keeping all stakeholders productively engagedPrepare and present detailed, written technical information for internal and external audiencesPossess sharp analytic abilities and business acumen, with proven design skillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules5+ years of Security ExperienceAWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or 2+ years of demonstrated experience of building on AWS infrastructure and servicesTechnical Degree (Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
