and consider shaping that experience by applying for this role with Enrollment Management.POSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Enrollment Operations is responsible for creating, designing and developing strategies to support the enrollment operations for Enrollment Management, including the successful implementation and ongoing project management for the constituent relationship management system (CRM) used by the university for enrollment operations and communications, as well as development, execution, and analysis of mixed-media, data-driven targeted recruitment communication campaigns. The incumbent directs the management of a diverse set of software systems, database integrations, and technical operations designed to streamline and optimize admission and enrollment functions.Reporting to the Senior Director of Enrollment Marketing and Operations, the position supervises a diverse team of communication and operations professionals charged with supporting the implementation of data-informed and systems-based enrollment operations solutions to facilitate the execution of admission and enrollment functions, outreach, recruitment travel, territory management, recruitment communication, campus visit programming, volunteer management, yield programming, faculty and staff recruitment efforts, and reporting and analysis on behalf of Ohio University's Division of Enrollment Management. The incumbent is responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage current and new technologies for greatest effectiveness in enrollment communications and operations. The Director's work will play a critical role in fulfilling OHIO's commitment to reducing barriers to education, supporting an inclusive campus community, and building a sense of belonging for all.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral Leadership, Management, and Supervision:

Determine and align work plans for a diverse team of communication and operations professionals and a classified records management senior specialist with the strategic enrollment goals of the University. Provide oversight of projects that achieve enrollment goals. Partner with the Enrollment Marketing and Operations and division leadership and collaborate to align and support enrollment goals necessary to achieve overall university growth and effectiveness. Meet regularly with team to review plans for effective use of resources and data in determining overall strategies and practices. Provide support and represent the University events both on- and off-campus, as needed. Train staff on best practices and external regulations related to the field. Represent the senior director as deputy in his/her absence as needed.Enrollment Operations:

Advise the Senior Director of Enrollment Marketing and Operations on strategies and procedures. Create and direct operational strategy in support of the successful implementation and ongoing project management for the university's constituent relationship management system (currently, Technolutions Slate) and associated systems, by monitoring system integrity and quality control, managing or supporting the execution of printed and electronic communication campaigns, and managing secure roles, permissions, and workspaces. Manage the coordination of administrative and technical functions associated with the constituent relationship management system, including testing and upgrades with the CRM, management of system integrations with the university's student information system and various third-party vendors. Establish a vision for the configuration and development of Slate instances to meet the ongoing and evolving needs of Enrollment Management while ensuring data integrity throughout all instances of the CRM. Lead the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive training documentation pertaining to the systems and associated processes, and train university personnel. Direct the receipt and processing of admissions inquiries generated by lead delivery services, including automated, manual, recurring, and/or adhoc data imports to the CRM. Oversee the development of routine and special operational and analytical reports using a variety of available querying, data exporting, and reporting tools across multiple systems to support recruitment, admission, and yield strategies. Build and maintain complex queries and reports using available reporting tools within the CRM and associated systems.Communication Campaign Management:

Supervise a diverse team of communication professionals charged with supporting the ongoing development and management of mixed-media, data-driven targeted recruitment and enrollment communication plans executed within the CRM and various systems for Enrollment Marketing and Operations, serving multiple constituencies, including prospective students, parents and supporters, school counselors, volunteers, other influencers, and the university community at large. Provide guidance and leadership to other communication staff and academic unit personnel on best practices and procedures as they pertain to enrollment operations, mass marketing, and electronic communication, in addition to ensuring compliance with associated regulations and policies. Assist department and functional leaders on the development and monitoring of quality assurance of all enrollment communications for Enrollment Marketing and Operations. Research, conceptualize, design, and create highly visible recruitment communication materials in coordination with other communication staff and academic unit personnel.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree is required by start date. Applicants with a bachelor's degree by start date and equivalent experience will also be considered.At least six years of related work experience.At least three years of management experience.Demonstrated proficiency with and direct management of a Constituent Relation Management (CRM) system required.Demonstrated proficiency with Student Information Systems.Working knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS, and Liquid Markup.Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Preferred QualificationsExperience with business intelligence software, such as Oracle Business Intelligence.Experience with database management, including SQL queries, data exports and imports, data integrity, etc.Experience in managing complex technical projects to completion.Experience working in a paperless environment.Experience with business processes improvement/redesign.Experience managing Technolutions Slate.Demonstrated proficiency with PeopleSoft.DepartmentEnrollment MarketingPay Rate:

Based on extensive benchmarking data, the Director for Enrollment Operations position is mapped to Pay Grade CA&P 20 at OHIO, with a target hiring range of $80,593-$94,697.
