Compliance Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator (FSS)
to join our corporate team.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) escrow fund coordination and management in partnership with our Connected Communities team, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of FSS escrow funds, and working on other grant initiatives.Please note that this is a 100% remote job, and applicants must reside in a state that Winn operates in. This position offers a pay rate of $32.24 per hour. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Additionally, applications will be accepted until November 19th, 2024 at 4pm EST.Responsibilities
Ensure compliance of annual and interim certification process for all FSS participants.Escrow funds management to include:Confirm baseline TTP and Annual Earned Income when a participant enrolls.Generate monthly escrow accruals, confirm accuracy, and update reports.Completes Escrow Credit Worksheets for Interims and Annual Recertifications.Track and adjust FSS amounts as applicable.Request FSS funds for each participant by creating Manual Adjustments on the Voucher.Appropriately update participant ledgers to reflect accurate escrow amounts.Releases FSS Funds for Interim Disbursement and Graduation checks.Create and distribute monthly reporting on FSS participation.Partner with FSS Accountants for year-end audit reporting.Complete E-LOCCS reporting submissions through HUD Secure Systems.Complete other duties as assigned.Requirements
Bachelor's degree.3-5 years of relevant work experience.3-5 years of PBS8, including 50059 form experience.Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suites.Ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks.Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.Preferred Qualifications
Certified Occupancy Specialist, C3P, CAM, CAPS, or similar designations.NAHP, SHCM, or similar designations.Prior experience with Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) program.The position requires a background check which includes criminal, employment verification, reference checks, credit history and drug testing due to the following job responsibilities: administration of rental applications and other resident paperwork, acceptance of rental payments, unit inspections, and processing of financial and banking data. Due to the access to personally identifiable information contained in resident applications and files, financial systems, unit keys, as well as interaction with resident population, employment applicants shall be subject to a criminal background check. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records are encouraged to apply and will be considered for employment in accordance with the LA County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.Our Benefits:
