This newly established position is geared towards driving operational efficiency, enhancing collaboration, and directing technical support to Finance systems. By leveraging your expertise in Finance processes and your technical acumen, you will contribute to streamlining department processes, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring user satisfaction.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the key liaison between the IT team, Finance departments, and third-party service providers to identify opportunities for process enhancement, ensuring seamless communication and effective collaboration.Collaborate with and lead a team of financial systems administrators responsible for the day-to-day administration of finance and accounting systems.Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's financial systems, including large-scale platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar systems.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand their requirements, translate them into system configurations and workflows, and ensure alignment with business objectives.Design and implement system enhancements and customizations to meet evolving business needs, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.Ensure the seamless integration of financial systems with other business systems by leveraging integration technologies, middleware, and APIs.Manage third-party service providers, including software vendors, consultants, and contractors, to ensure effective system implementation, upgrades, and support.Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders regarding financial system capabilities, integration options, and best practices.Conduct regular audits, data validations, and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.Stay informed of finance technology trends to serve as a subject matter expert, proactively identifying ways to leverage new tools and enhancements based on industry best practices and regulatory compliance.Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related fields is required, and relevant certifications are a plus.Proven experience as a Financial Systems Administrator or a comparable position, with focus on managing finance and accounting systems in a complex environment.Strong understanding of large finance and accounting systems, such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms and integration technologies and tools, including middleware, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and APIs.Extensive experience in overseeing finance and accounting processes, encompassing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.Expertise in managing third-party service providers and consultants, involving vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.Strong leadership and team management abilities, empowering you to motivate and guide a team of administrators while fostering a collaborative work environment.Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, allowing you to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines.48forty Solutions
